I HATE NETWORKING is a workshop and networking session in one.

Networking is the absolute worst. Unless you’re a naturally charismatic go-getter, talking to total strangers about who you are and what you do is extremely daunting. But, to the dismay of shy introverts and generally awkward folk everywhere, developing professional connections is also super-valuable.

Next week, the clever people at Creative Plus Business (aka our ace Good Stuff awards partners) are hosting a free event to help creative folks in Sydney build their networking skills and get to know each other. At I HATE NETWORKING, experts will delve into everything you need to know about the elusive skill, including how to prepare for an event, how to introduce yourself, how to deal with difficult people, and more.

After all those nifty tips have been shared, attendees will be able to have a crack at putting them into practice in a safe environment. Participants will also have access to a bunch of helpful resources after the workshop has wrapped up, including free webinars. Just head this-a-way for all the deets.

I HATE NETWORKING kicks off at Marrickville Town Hall at 6pm on September 5th.
