Hey frankie fam! It's a funny ol’ world at the moment, and we’re doing everything we can to keep inspiring reads and pretty pictures in your hands. Unfortunately, the cost of print media is rising quicker than we can keep up with, so we’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to increase the cost of our annual subscription from February 5th. There’s a lot that goes into frankie, like paper, ink, paying contributors, distribution, delivery – and that’s just the start! 

 We understand that this isn’t ideal, but it’s the only way we can keep making frankie for you lovely lot. And never fear: subscription prices will still be cheaper than buying at cover price! We’ve tried to keep the price increases as low as possible, so you can keep enjoying frankie and we can keep creating the frankie you know and love. 

So, what’s changing? To sweeten the deal, 12 and 24 month subscriptions will now include a bonus magazine each year – our annual mental-health special, frankie feel good – meaning you’ll get seven magazines a year, instead of the usual six. If your 6-month subscription falls within the on sale date of feel-good, you will also receive it. Check out our on sale dates here. 

Here’s a price breakdown: 

• Six-month subscription (3 issues): was $35, now $35 (no change) – SAVE 11 per cent off cover price 
• 12-month subscription (7 issues): was $74, now $79 – SAVE 14 per cent off cover price 
• 24-month subscription (14 issues) was $139, now $145 – SAVE 21 per cent off cover price 

Plus for our 12 and 24-month subscribers, you’ll still get your awesome renewal discount!
