a hunt for winter woollies

The Australian Red Cross is on the hunt for hand-me-down winter woollies – you know, the ones that are in a big pile gathering dust at the end of your bed. By simply donating your pre-loved knits and bits to their chain of local op shops (the very same ones that bring us oh-so much thrift shopping joy), you’ll be helping to raise funds for all sorts of good deeds.
The charity provides hot, nutritious meals to folks facing homelessness, for instance, as well as making daily phone calls to elderly Australians, ensuring they’re safe and independent in their homes. Head here to track down your nearest Red Cross store – and may your karma keep you cosy and warm.
