stuff mondays – easton pearson archive

The iconic Australian fashion label Easton Pearson officially shut up shop only two years ago, but considering their nearly 30-year archive of vibrant, expressive designs, it seems fitting that they now have a showcase at the Museum of Brisbane.

The Brisbane duo – Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson – are best known for their embellished garments, 200 of which are currently on show. Fashion and textile nerds will be in their element here, surrounded by meticulous beading, ornate embroidery and artisanal fabrics. If that sounds like your cup of tea, nab yourself a pass over this way. (We have 10 adult season passes up for grabs.)
