Nancybird’s latest range is just right for sashaying about the supermarket (or wherever you like, really).

Did you know that Nancybird, the oh-so lovely clothing and accessories label based in Melbourne, is turning 15? Yep, they’re right at that super-painful part of teenhood – and yet they look as easy and breezy as ever. Case in point: their spring/summer 2018 range, teeming with floaty pieces and pretty prints – ideal for sashaying about the supermarket in the refrigerated section when summertime hits hard. (Handy hint: placing a bag of frozen peas on your neck will cool you down in an instant. You can thank us later.)

You can also help Nancybird celebrate their milestone birthday this weekend, if you want – and if you happen to be in Melbourne. They’re holding a pop-up design event at the Northcote Town Hall, and a bunch of their friends will also be in attendance: Abby Seymour (who’ll be bringing along her eye-pleasing jewellery), Wawa Chocolatier (who’ll have sweet treats aplenty), Aacute (purveyors of handcrafted candles and resin jewellery) and Into The Wild Interiors (go-to folks for indoor greenery). As for Nancybird, they’ll be displaying some of their most memorable textile designs ever, and showing customers how to treat their leathergoods with TLC at their leathercare station. Cop a squiz at the Facebook event page to find out even more.
