bee bowen food-dyed scarves

Let's all take a moment to appreciate the vibrant rainbow of colours bestowed by Mother Nature upon our daily fruit and veg. Bright orange! Firetruck red! A full spectrum of glowing greens! We sometimes can't decide if we'd rather display them or shove them down our greedy gobs.

One lady who truly appreciates the hues in her produce is Scandinavian lass, Bee Bowen. The textile designer uses colours found in food like berries, cabbage and avocado to tint lengths of silk and turn them into scrumptious-looking scarves. Pretty clever, huh?

If you fancy knotting one around shoulders while you tuck into a crispy salad, you can find a list of stockists here.
