Keil Mead is a jewellery designer and silversmith who likes drawing attention to the everyday. After a childhood growing up in America's midwest, he got pretty used to being around banal objects that induced as much excitement as a tumbleweed. It wasn't until he moved to Brooklyn in his later years he realised that nostalgia can be held in a retainer or piece of pre-chewed gum.
Setting about both making moulds and powder-coating everyday objects, his first range of jewellery began to take shape. And we likey.
