When we first saw these pictures of Martin Azua's Basic House project, we thought it was just a cool blow-up balloon type thing, designed for people to frolick with as the mood struck them. But, as the name suggests, it's actually his take on a basic house: an inflatable shelter that can be reversed depending on whether you need cooling or heating and which folds up to fit in your pocket. Basically all you really need in a home, sans consumer trappings. Plus it would make a neat festival tent, don't you think?
