Chilly, innit? With the way that the weather has been in Sydney last week, the Wool Modern exhibition showing at the historic Pier 2/3 in Walsh Bay seems to come at a suitable time. From Wednesday they are exhibiting the most avant garde uses of wool in fashion and design in the 21st Centruy. Local Australian designers like Lisa Gorman and Jenny Kee will be showing off their woolen wares alongside the likes of Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. For anybody interested in the innovation of textiles, or who just likes staying cozy when the temperatures are dropping, this could be a warm way to spend an afternoon.
