tiffanie turner’s paper flowers

By Staff Writer

This San Francisco-based artist makes startling realistic (and huge) paper flowers.

Tiffanie Turner, a San Francisco-based artist, makes startling realistic paper flowers. Her botanical artworks range in scale – some are tiny, some are giant – and are mostly made from Italian crepe paper. Entirely handcrafted, one flower can take Tiffanie up to 400 hours to make. (That’s dedicated.) A former architect, the creative lady now makes flowers pretty much full-time, what with her workshops, exhibitions and forthcoming book. Unfortunately, we’re too far away to join in one of her classes (what with being in the other hemisphere and all), so for now, we’ll just settle for gazing appreciatively at her stuff. Head over to Tiffanie’s website to see more.
