stuff mondays – the nature of play

These spiffy books are filled with fun activities for your little’un (and will get them off the couch and out into nature, too).

Keeping kids occupied and away from the screen isn’t always the easiest of tasks. It’s pretty helpful then, when people like Delfina Aguilar think up a big bunch of playful activities to keep little hands busy. Delfina’s lovely book The Nature of Play is filled to the brim with nature-based fun and games, from how-to’s like DIY seed bombs and masks made from leaves, to recipes and flora and fauna guides. If that’s the kind of learning your little tyke could do with more of, you can pick up a copy over here. We also happen to have a stack to give away to six lucky ducks – enter over this-a-way.
