Whimsical musings all the way from Italy.

Name: Stefania Manzi. Lives: Turin, Italy. What do you do: Freelance illustrator. Tell us a little about you and your illustration style: Someone said my style is quite minimal, simple and I have a whimsical aesthetic. After trying different medias I finally realised that I had much more fun drawing just with pencils, and then colouring the illustrations using Photoshop. My colour palette is quite limited: I only use a few colours for each illustration. I also like to use vintage paper for the background. My favorite things to draw are trees, houses and funny faces. What inspires you: Many things. Vintage portraits, books, astronomy, food, colours, snow, typography, music and English Bulldogs. What are you working on right now: Currently I'm working on some illustrations for Babiekins Magazine. Where can we see more of your wonderful work: Here and here.
