Artist and illustrator George Mellor has got a thing for vessels - or more specifically, the colourful plant-life that dwells within them.

Artist and illustrator George Mellor has got a thing for vessels - or more specifically, the colourful plant-life that dwells within them. George, or Sister Arrow as she's come to be known, is responsible for this small-in-number-but-big-in-radness series of receptacle-based prints, depicting a terrarium, a 'zoo flask' (which is deceptively lacking in animals), and a herbal jar of sorts, which was inspired by a display in London's Victoria & Albert Museum.

Each print is a limited edition, making it a wee bit special, and has been created using a risograph – a printer-like device that stamps out one colour at a time. When she's not getting print-happy, George dabbles in painting, photography and animation, too. Have a browse through more of her work over here.
