seasonal party poppers

To celebrate the changing seasons, these adorable Japanese seasonal party poppers could be just the thing - because who doesn't want to be surrounded by fluttering sakura blossoms?

To celebrate the changing seasons, these adorable Japanese seasonal party poppers could be just the thing.

When you set them off, instead of being smattered with strings of multicoloured paper you will be covered in fluttering sakura blossoms, autumn leaves, snow flakes or rain droplets. Pretty swish, huh?

They're made by Japanese company 7YouMe, and while they don't ship to Australia (unless you can read Japanese, as they are available to ship from Japan's MoMA store), party poppers are pretty easy to make at home. So while they won't be quite as pretty, you can use these seasonal party poppers as inspiration for the first garden party of the season.
