If you've ever been down one of those dark web holes where you just can't go to sleep till you thoroughly investigate every baby goat gif or Ryan Gosling meme then you'll know the internet can suck the vitality right out of you.

But the internet can foster creativity as well – even in the real world.

Alexandra Segreti and Kelly Rakowski first met on the internet and bonded over a shared love of textiles and eccentric visual arts. Months later they met IRL and New Friends was born – a weaving and fabric manipulation collaboration that's an ode to all things geometric, fluro, shaggy and just plan wack.
