liquorice allsorts cookies

Warm the oven and dig out the baking trays, we've got some creative baking to do.

When inedible objects are made into edible form - like an artist's palette, for instance - our minds can get a little bamboozled. To bite, or not to bite? Weirdly though, it's when food is reinvented in another equally edible way that we really feel like we've lost the plot. Take these sweet treats, whipped up by the always imaginative Sprinkle Bakes: they might look like a pile of sugary, chewy liquorice allsorts, but have a nibble and you'll find it's a batch of crumbly cookies instead. Surprise!

Not that we're complaining – we love to eat allsorts in all sorts of ways. As an ice cream cake, a scrummy slice, or even in jelly form, we'll happily dig on in and devour the multi-layered goodness. Now excuse us while we warm the oven and dig out the baking trays, we've got some creative baking to do.
