One day a nought met a cross, they fell madly in linear love, and had lots of little geometric babies. This is their story.

One day a nought met a cross, they fell madly in linear love, and had lots of little geometric babies. And then those babies created their own square and diamond offspring, which began to breed triangles, and before long there was one giant clan of criss-crossed, loopdiloop kinfolk.

Jane Denton's lovely textile art is a family portrait of sorts, sorting simple, graphic shapes into utterly eye-pleasing designs, which are then woven delicately on a clean white background out of a rainbow's worth of coloured wool. If you'd love some of the Wellington-based lass' artwork on your wall, you can pick one up from her webstore, right here.
