imaginary lovers zine

Illustrator Devon Smith is a bit of a sharp-eyed bystander, and her zine Imaginary Lovers is an ode to the most special of passersby.

The best part about catching public transport (other than a good eco-conscience and being able to snooze while you commute) is the chance to spend some solid time people watching. A half hour bus ride is just enough time to invent all sorts of elaborate back stories, and to make a few guesstimates about where your fellow passengers are off to.

New Zealand illustrator Devon Smith is a bit of a sharp-eyed bystander, and her zine Imaginary Lovers is an ode to the most special of passersby. She looks at people, sketches them and pops them between her pages, where we can share in her curiosity and see folks through her inquisitive eyes.

You can find all three issues of the zine over here.
