fancy getting hitched next month? take part in flash romantics’ day of weddings
No wedding is complete without matching tats, a bottle of bubbly and professional snaps.
Traditional weddings (and the price tag that comes with them) aren’t for everyone. That’s why queer creative Sass Cocker wanted to create something more fun, simple and accessible for loved-up folks who want to get married, but can’t relate to traditional weddings.
So, last year Sass launched Flash Romantics – a one-day event held at their Melbourne venue, Studio Take Care, where people can get legally married (and get matching tattoos, if they like).
This year, Sass is back with another instalment of Flash Romantics. On April 29th, you can get hitched at Studio Take Care’s glam wedding chapel in Brunswick, with the help of Renée the Celebrant. Photographer Charlie Brophy will also be there to take loads of lovely snaps.
If the idea of a small shotgun wedding, a declaration of love, a vow renewal or a polyamorous commitment ceremony takes your fancy, then head to the Flash Romantics website for more info, or email sass@studiotakecare.com before March 24th.
