diy paper vase and tulips

Always wanted to give paper craft a go? These Papershape templates are a good place to start.

Getting started in paper craft can feel a bit daunting when artists are out there sculpting 3D birds and microscopic patterns, but punchy designs don't always require a week's worth of folding and smoothing. In fact, you don't even have to come up with your own pattern. Anastasia Baron from Papershape happily shares her downloadable paper craft templates, so you can try your hand at fashioning pretty flowers, animals or even the occasional dessert (donut-shaped egg rest, anyone?). We're especially keen on Anastasia's paper vase, which you can place over a standard drinking glass to hold your real-deal blooms. Better yet, whip up a few of her paper tulips and you'll never have to toss out a droopy bunch of petals again.
