cat rabbit exhibition opening

If you’re in Melbourne tonight, you might like to pop past Cat Rabbit’s exhibition opening. (Go on, be fancy.)

If you happen to be in Melbourne town, you might like to check out Cat Rabbit’s latest exhibition, Gocco Play Date. The crafty lady, who stitches her super-cute textiles in the rather charming Nicholas Building and from home in the company of her kitty, Porco, has whipped up a series of works celebrating the Gocco medium (a Japanese compact printing system, invented in 1977).

Head to Outré Gallery (located at 249–251 Elizabeth St, Melbourne) tonight between 6pm and 8pm to join in the opening night festivities, nab a free beverage, and learn how to make your very own Gocco print. Otherwise, make your way there sometime between now and Sunday June 25th to catch the show before it closes.
