bright young things writers' club

A brand new writer's club is popping up in Brisbane, and we reckon it's going to be a doozy. And we're not even biased because a member of the frankie family is speaking at the first session, promise.

A brand new writer's club is popping up in Brisbane, and we reckon it's going to be a doozy. And we're not even biased because a member of the frankie family is speaking at the first session, promise.

Bright Young Things is a bi-monthly night for up-and-comers at Riverbend Books, featuring a whole bunch of guest authors who want to show you the ropes. Freelance writer, author, Q&A regular and Twitter King Benjamin Law (AKA the busiest man we know) will be kicking off proceedings on April 17th, and it'll cost you a measly $10 to head along. Bargain!

There'll be wallet-friendly beer and yummy treats available too, and if your grumbling tum isn't enough to entice you, maybe the opportunity for mentorship and possible publication on UQ's literary site will.

Hop over to the facebook page for all the deets.
