bricabracomaniac

The series is part of an ongoing mission to transform everyday objects into captivating subjects, and we reckon she’s hitting the nail on the head.

Here’s what we like about photographer Sarah Rhea’s series Bricabracomaniac (aside from the genius title, of course): it takes all the pointless little knick-knacks we tend to accumulate – the Kinder Surprise toys, assorted stationery and those inexplicable bits that come inside a showbag – and turns them into miniature, beautifully snapped pieces of art. Abstract and at times a tad creepy, yes, but a darn sight snazzier than each individual piece would be if it was rolling around the bottom of your drawer or long-forgotten and gathering dust under your bed.

The series is part of Sarah’s ongoing mission to transform everyday objects into captivating subjects, and we reckon she’s hitting the nail on the head. See more of her snaps over here.
