Taiwan-born, Melbourne-based artist Zhu Ohmo makes ceramics that are a wee bit curious. Take these planters, for instance. We’ve seen planters with faces, planters that look like animals… But we’re pretty sure we’ve never seen a planter that looks like it’s taking a snooze.

The slouchy ceramics were part of an exhibition that took place at Tinning Street Gallery in Melbourne a little earlier this year, celebrating “the artist’s hand in the age of automation”. Amen to that. Take a peek at Zhu’s website to see more of her crafty work.
