yurico momo’s felted flying squirrels

By Staff Writer

Japanese crafter Yurico Momo has made countless flying squirrels from felt, and they’re just frigging adorable.

Flying squirrels can’t “fly” per se, but they are able to spread their limbs and glide between trees, which makes for rather impressive viewing. No wonder then that Yurico Momo is so obsessed with them. A collector of stuffed animals and key chains from an early age, the now-adult Japanese crafter has made countless flying squirrels from felt, each sporting a smile. We have no idea why Yurico has lined them up like sushi and spiked one onto a chopstick ready to be eaten, but we’re going to assume it’s because they’re cute enough to eat (or something). Take a peek at her Instagram to see heaps more.
