wool days

Knitting, weaving, making pom-poms, rugging up in cosy woollies right to our snouts: we’re big fans of yarn and everything it can do.

Knitting, weaving, making pom-poms, rugging up in cosy woollies right to our snouts: we’re big fans of yarn and everything it can do. That’s why our chilly ears pricked up when a little birdy told us about Wool Days – a local label making single-source, breed-specific wool.

Based in a green and bushy pocket of Victoria, the duo behind the project want to connect you with the fuzzy stuff, tracing their yarn from your knitting bag to the sheep that graciously shared their fleece. All the wool is homegrown and spun to match the breed’s characteristics, too – if that’s not top service, we don’t know what is.

Pop by the Wool Days website to get a load of their yarn-y stash, and perhaps pick up a few balls for yourself.
