win two tickets to see ‘emily’
The film is coming to Australian cinemas on January 12th, and we’ve got a stack of tickets up for grabs.
Emily Brontë only wrote one novel over the course of her short life, which is rather remarkable considering the impact Wuthering Heights has had on the world. (Exhibit A: Kate bloody Bush!) While we don’t know a great deal about Emily’s life, British-Australian actor-director Frances O'Connor does a bang-up job of imagining it on screen in her new film, Emily (which also happens to be her directorial debut!).
Starring Emma Mackey (who we adore in Sex Education), the film explores Emily’s struggles, relationships and her creativity, and we simply can’t wait for it to hit Aussie shores on January 12th. (Peep the trailer below if you’d like to see a little more of what you’re in for.)
We’ve got 10 double-passes to Emily up for grabs, so you’ll have a mate to share some popcorn (and potentially some tears) with. Head to our win page to enter the draw. Oh – and keep an eye out for our interview with Frances in our next issue, on sale February 6th.
