whipped berry porridge

Brighten up your morning with this tasty Scandinavian treat.

Did you know that whipped berry porridge is a common meal in Scandinavia? Yep, those Nordic folk are known to eat it morning, noon and night. It even doubles as a healthy dessert. Now that’s what we call efficient eating.

In the northern hemisphere, the dish is traditionally made using lingonberries (something a little like our cranberries), but you can use whatever you have stashed away in the freezer to make this tasty treat. (We’d probably stick to something red like strawberries or raspberries, though, since the resulting hue is so gosh-darn pretty.) Head over to Cup of Jo for the full how-to, then dig in.
