wasbar: making laundry fun

Antwerp-based design studio, Pinkeye, has turned the whole communal laundry experience on its head. While gathering all your dirty washing and carting it a couple blocks to the laundromat is a darn hassle (not to mention boring as all get out, as you wait for the pesky spin-cycle to do its thing) Pinkeye's version, Wasbar, combines washers and dryers with the things you'd rather be doing – getting a coffee, a beer, a hair cut, or even catching some live tunes. And for those who'd rather not handle their granny knickers in public, there's even a private room for you to fold them up out the back.
