We sense a trend coming on here: after receiving a sudden onslaught of emails about bowties made out of both vintage fabrics and high quality materials, we've decided to put together a little collection of our favourites.

We sense a trend coming on here: after receiving a sudden onslaught of emails about bowties made out of vintage shirts and high quality materials, we've decided to put together a little collection of our favourites.

The first is part of a collection by the punfully named Necks Tuesday brand out of Brooklyn. Every neck adornment is created with the finest woolen and cotton materials and comes pre-tied. No fiddling required!

The second necktie is from Bow Ties By Talia - they're all handmade at Talia's house, and she also makes them to match a particular outfit, if you have a special event in mind. They're super cute and totally Australian produced.

The final two Japanese-style neckties are from Lady Phillips, a new label that uses vintage materials from Melbourne's iconic Phillip's Shirts to create new pieces. As well as bowties, they also make sweet cushions and collars that you can all see here.
