It’s hard to believe this Norwegian pop talent is only 19 years old.

What is it about Scandinavia that sees it produce so many talented pop artists? Is it the free education? The omega-3-heavy diet? Maybe Scandi kids are just a lot cooler than the rest of us (but we already knew that).

Nineteen-year-old Norwegian singer and bedroom painter Lil Halima released her hopelessly catchy track, Trains earlier this year. Her follow-up is Jasmine, a laid-back, synth-filled R&B song that has her singing about a girl of the same name. “I don’t hate Jasmine, I’m just really, really jealous [of her],” Halima says of the lyrics. Jealousy sucks, but it sure does sound good. See the video below.
