Two local legends covering the one and only Björk? There’s only one response to this news, and that’s, “Hell yeah!” As part of Melbourne’s arts festival RISING, Julia Jacklin and RVG got together to record a cover of Björk’s “Army of Me”. RISING is sadly paused due to you know what, but we’re grateful that special collabs like this are still making their way into our earholes (there’s more to come, too). In this version of Björk’s famous track, RVG brings the dark intensity while Julia is on angelic vocal duties. Have a listen below:
