The Melbourne band’s lush new album tells the story of a chap making his way through the city one night.

We’re all prone to skipping back and forth between tracks and playing albums however we like, but if you’re going to listen to Husky’s Stardust Blues, make sure you start at the top. Inspired by James Joyce’s Ulysses, the album follows one character for 24 hours as he wanders around Melbourne. Throughout the 12 songs, we bump into his friends, glimpse a new love, sift through his deepest memories and observe the city when everyone else is asleep. It’s warm, lush and intimate – the kind of thing you might feel like spinning on a quiet evening – and if you’d like to hear it for yourself, you'd best hit play below.
