Bonjour, frankie amis! So Frenchy So Chic has dropped the second instalment of YÉ-YÉ 2.0 – an EP that celebrates the French YÉ-YÉ pop culture movement of the ‘60s by collaborating with a few ace local musos.

While the first instalment of YÉ-YÉ 2.0 featured some rad covers by Ali Barter, Nadeah, Montaigne and Ainslie Wills, the second EP includes Odette’s take on France Gall’s “Laisse Tomber Les Filles” (Stop Messing Around With The Girls) and Ngaiire’s version of Johnny Hallyday’s “L'Idole Des Jeunes” (The Idol of the Youth). The album also features Woodes' cover of Clothilde’s “Fallait Pas Écraser La Queue Du Chat” (Shouldn’t Crush the Cat’s Tail), Julia Wallace’s version of Annie Philippe’s “Mes Amis, Mes Copains” (My Good Friends, My Dear Friends), and Elizabeth’s take on Marie La Foret’s “Marie Colere – Marie Douceur” (which is actually an adaptation of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint it Black”).
