Sobriety was the starting place for this LA duo’s pop punk melodies.

There’s a first for everything, and for Bleached (the LA pop punk band made up of sisters Jessie and Jennifer Clavin) it was writing their new album, Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough, completely sober. Jennifer describes writing their rocking single “Hard to Kill” as a process of "staring down the road toward death and realising I needed to wake up and get out of those selfish patterns of self destruction.” On the flip side, sobriety sounds really bloody good – like, jump-up-and-down, yell-out-the-chorus good.
