tunesday - winter people

Oh, how we love an acoustic set. The fizzle and crack of an amp can never beat the intimate sentimentality of an unplugged band - especially when they're playing in a lounge room strewn with fairy lights.

Oh, how we love an acoustic set. The fizzle and crack of an amp can never beat the intimate sentimentality of an unplugged band - especially when they're playing in a lounge room strewn with fairy lights. When we came across the clip to the left of Sydney six-piece Winter People, we had the urge to call them up and ask them to come hang out on our couch. With velvet vocals, two violins and a fair amount of facial hair, we think we like the way they look just as much as they sound.

Their debut album is coming out soon, but for now you can listen to their EP here, facebook them here, and check out their snazzy website here. It's worth having a float through their blog, if only to peer at all of the pretty pictures! Happy listening and looking.
