tunesday - veruca salt reunion and giveaway
Aside from being the greatest tribute to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in rock, Veruca Salt had one of the most woeful break-ups of the ‘90s.
Aside from being the greatest tribute to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in rock, Veruca Salt had one of the most woeful break-ups of the ‘90s. Sadder than Dawson and Joey or Brenda and Dylan, their parting of ways left a grungy-pop-shaped hole in our hearts – until the announcement that the Chicago group had gotten back together.
Released this week, Ghost Notes is the first album for the original lineup since 1996, and it’s chockas with both new material and songs started way back in their early days. There’s fuzzy guitars and heavy drums and all the awesomeness you’d expect from the ever-rocking band, and we’re stoked to have 10 copies of the album to give away.
To enter the draw, shoot an email here with your name and address and tell us why their reunion has you jumping for joy. For more Veruca Salt (and to pick up a copy of Ghost Notes) head here.
