This Brisbane five-piece make '70s-inspired, blues-tinged rock 'n' roll with a hefty dose of swagger and fuzz.

Describing a band's music can be a pretty tricky feat, and in the case of Brisbane group The Furrs, we're happy to cheekily pinch their words to do so. The five-piece, fronted by the pithily named Gabriella J. and Jimmy G, make '70s-inspired, blues-tinged rock 'n' roll with a hefty dose of swagger and fuzz'; you can almost smell the stale cigarettes of a grimy roadside pub and feel your soles stick goopily to the carpet as you listen.

Their first single, "Get On Your Horse", features a suitably lo-fi basement show, and you can have a looksee for yourself to the left.
