tunesday - patrick wolf

We're howling a yes of approval for Patrick Wolf's new album, Lupercalia.

The last time we saw Patrick Wolf play, we were stunned into a beautiful stupor by a combination of animal cloaks and lasers. This time around, when he tours his fifth album Lupercalia in Australia this September, it'll be a little different. Instead of the normal bang-crash-kapow we normally expect from Patty and his exuberant personality, he'll be treating us to a series of intimate acoustic performances. Don't worry, his Celtic harp, viola and grand piano are all unplugged, so they'll still be making appearances.

Plus, if you're a particularly avid fan and willing to form a travelling Wolf pack, he's going to perform a totally different set every night! For a muso who is a decade into his career and has five albums under his belt, that's a lot of material to try and squeeze into a single show.
