'Good heavens!' might sound like an exclamation that your grandmother would mutter, but Sydney band Good Heavens is another utterance all together.

'Good heavens!' might sound like an exclamation that your grandmother would mutter, but Sydney band Good Heavens is another utterance all together.

Combining both the ethereal, dreamier sides of pop with a brute guitar force, Sarah Kelly, Chris Ross and Myles Heskett have come together to create a cacophony of sound we rather like infiltrating our ears. Their masterful combination of both soft and strong is like a pleasant punch in the face with a hand-knitted mitten.

They just released their debut album Strange Dreams last month - if you want to have a listen just head on over to their Bandcamp page or their website.
