tunesday - ginger and the ghost

If Bjork had worn an Australian native bird as a dress instead of a swan, and had broken out into song on the red carpet, perhaps she would have sounded like Ginger & The Ghost.

Welcome to another week, frankie music maestros. A little brightly coloured bird has told us about Ginger & The Ghost, a new duo out of Sydney. Missy and Daniel make music that has equal amounts of tribal calls and Alice-down-the-rabbit-hole motifs. If Bjork had worn an Australian native bird as a dress instead of a swan, and had broken out into song on the red carpet, perhaps this is what she would have sounded like. The film clip to the left is simply stupendous, full of so much colour and imagination. It's like a confetti bomb has gone off in our mind.
