We've got a musical present for you this morning in the form of Sydney's Emma Birdsall – a one woman singing/songwriting/blogging machine. The talented lady's got a list of skills and interests longer than our latest phone bill (read: long) but she's chosen her vocal abilities as the way to pay the rent.

When she's not getting all domestic with an apron and whisk or sharing her world on her blog, Life with Birdsall, Emma belts out some serious notes, with styles ranging from jazz to pop and even a little opera, if you're lucky. The track below is called "Never in a Million Years" and we thought it the perfect intro to this new voice on the scene. Happy listening!
