There are lots of reasons to like Portland-based indie-pop duo Dresses, including (and not limited to) the fact they're a cute-as-a-button boyfriend-girlfriend team who spend their days combining musical forces between couch-bound cuddles, their infectious tunes are littered with the strumming of a ukulele and their frontwoman just so happens to be called Timothy. Which we think is a tip-top name for a lass.

They also make sweet, summery ditties that give us all kinds of warm and fuzzies, and we predict that their debut album Sun Shy (out in Australia on October 25th) will be getting a lot of airtime at frankie HQ. Hit play on their single "Blew My Mind" – the first song they ever wrote together – for a taste of what's to come.
