We have a new theory: the longer the beard of the musician, the more jaw-droppingly awesome the music. If this is the case, then according to the beard equation, Dirty Three would be rulers of the musical empire. This isn't the kind of instrumental music that you hear in elevators or in the background of your childhood memories - if you've ever seen Warren Ellis do a scissor kick into the audience while shredding it up on an electric violin, you would know that Dirty Three are much, much more than that.
