too hard to keep

By Staff Writer

Too Hard To Keep is a place to squirrel away photos that you don't want to destroy, but are also too tough or sad-making to keep around.

Feelings are funny things. They often find a way to confuse us until we don't quite know our left from our right; or more accurately, as it were, our happy from our sad. Too Hard To Keep is a project that gives an understanding nod to this muddle of emotions, serving as a place to squirrel away photos that you don't want to destroy, but are also too tough or sad-making to keep around.

The archive works on a no-questions-asked basis: whatever the reason for wanting to purge the snap from your life, just pop it through to founder Jason Lazarus and he'll make sure that it stays safe and sound. A wander through the photo library fills us with plenty of burning questions about the who, why and where, but there's something kind of special about the mystery, as well. See for yourself over here.
