A little chat with Adelle of The Market Roll.

Tell us a bit about The Market Roll. The Market Roll is a directory of local art, craft and design markets all over Melbourne and Sydney. Stall holders who sell at these markets can register their stores on the roll, listing their stall profiles at the individual markets they'll be attending. What was the inspiration behind it all? There's nothing more bothersome than trekking out to a market to find none of the stallholders are selling what you want! We thought, "Wouldn't it be great to see who'll be setting up shop before we go?" So my partner Jin and I started The Market Roll. Favourite market for some handmade goodies? Definitely North Melbourne Market for store quality with a human touch. How about to score some vintage treasures? Blackbird Market is the best place to pick up a '50s swing dress or a pair of '80s happy pants. And for bric-a-brac? Camberwell Sunday Market, but get there early to catch all the good stuff. Anything else we should know? You can keep up to date on all our market happenings by joining our Facebook page or scrolling our blog. And of course, if you'd like to promote your next market stall visit The Market Roll. To read more from Jessie and follow her connected life, head here.
