The Postal Lane Markets will run until January 30.

Hoo boy, have we got something exciting for you Melbourne folk! A new market that will showcase local makers and bring life back to the CBD following several long lockdowns will kick off later this month at the iconic GPO building.

Running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 19 until the end of January, 2022, the Postal Lane Markets will celebrate all the lovely things that make Melbourne magical, according to its founder Kate Lillian Muir.

“This is what Melbourne hangs its hat on; a vibrant inner-city laneway surrounded by awesome bars, restaurants and amazing shopping,” she says.

“I can’t wait to see people picking up a necklace or a gift from a talented maker, feeling really good about supporting a small business, hanging around for a cocktail and a snack before heading out for dinner or to their next adventure in the city.”

Friday nights will be dedicated to Melbourne's foodies, while the rest of the weekend will be spent highlighting local sellers of fashion, art, plants, jewellery, homewares, skincare and loads more. To find more info or to register as a stall holder, head to the Postal Lane Markets website.
