In his stunning photo series, Jon Horvath documents everyday life in Bliss, Idaho (population: 300).

Jon Horvath discovered Bliss by accident. The Milwaukee-based shutterbug was travelling home from Portland when he spotted a sign for Bliss, a roadside town in Idaho’s Snake River Valley, and pulled over to check it out. After a chinwag with a fellow watering his corn patch, Jon grew curious about the town, and returned to start documenting the residents’ everyday lives. In doing so, he compared the reality of Bliss to “the mythology associated with happiness, as well as mythologies of the American West”. Scroll down to take a peek at Jon’s snaps, then head over to his website to see more.
