this 1950s theme park is a kitschy fairy wonderland

Happy ever after.

Have you heard the story of Australia’s first theme park? According to Anakie’s Fairy Park – located just a hop, skip and jump from Geelong/Djilang – it’s a tale as old as time. Or, as old as 1959 at least, which is when Fairy Park began. Home to a small human life-sized magical kingdom – including castles, dragons and a Camelot-themed playground – this theme park is perfect for little ‘uns, as well as anyone who is a child at heart. Plus, the kitschy design and uncanny creatures is a delight for visitors who are partial to a dash of old-world imagination. Pop on over to Fairy Park’s Instagram for more deets.
