the west wind collector

A bunch of lovely makers and designers are gathering to sell their wares at Abbotsford Convent in Melbourne this weekend.

Are you one of those very organised people who purchase Christmas prezzies for your loved ones throughout the year? If so, congrats. We envy your foresight and planning. The rest of us, on the other hand, may want to make a beeline for The West Wind Collector, a design market in Melbourne this weekend, featuring locally handmade ceramics, jewellery, homewares and threads. You’ll find stacks of lovely makers there, including Min Pin, La Petite Fabrique De Brunswick, Fjord Illustration, Victoria Mason, Marissa Heymann, Spots of Dawn, Wolf & Mishka, Alterfact, Soap Club, HTML Flowers, Vikki Kassioras, Flock Curiosity Assembly, Aviva Reed, Scale Free Network and Dawn Vachon. Heck of a line-up, eh? Pop past the Abbotsford Convent between 10am and 5pm this Saturday and Sunday to shop your heart out (and have a little chinwag with all the makers, too). Oh, and here’s the Facebook event page, should you wish to keep in the know.
